Recycling

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Did you know that there has been a volunteer recycling center in Brunswick for the past 15 years. That is correct; Brunswick has been encouraging its citizens to “reduce, reuse, recycle” to help take care of this wonderful world in which we live.

The center, located by the City barn over the railroad tracks across from the water plant, takes aluminum, tin, plastic, styrofoam, magazines, and cardboard the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon. Please sort paper products and rinse all plastic and aluminum containers. Glass is not accepted at this time.

Because of  Jim Hill’s faithfulness to the project, residents do not have to drive out of town to a recycling center. Thank you for all your hard work, Jim!
