RED, WHITE, AND BLUE PARTY IN THE PARK

The Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a RED, WHITE, and BLUE PARTY IN THE PARK on Sunday, July 6, 2014. The activities will begin at 5 pm with a birthday party honoring the World’s Largest Pecan next to City Hall in beautiful downtown Brunswick. The activities will then move to Herring Park for an evening of festivities culminating in a fireworks display. The Brunswick Community Chorus will be performing a patriotic cantata, there will be a red, white and blue walking parade to honor our veterans, and of course the fireworks display. There will be food, entertainment, music for your enjoyment, and fun for all.

At this time we have the following activities: dart stand, bean bag toss, face painting, duck pond, ring the bottle toss, cake walk, 3-on-3 basketball, bounce house, cotton candy, food stand, and lemonade stand. If you would like to participate in this event, please contact Barb Kahler at 660-375-2204 to sign up to have a booth. There is no charge to participate. Please call by June 20 for the committee to make final plans.
