35th Annual Brunswick Pecan Festival

Just a few of the events this weekend at the 35th Annual Brunswick Pecan Festival.

FRIDAY:
Knights of Columbus tenderloin dinner at 5 p.m.
Shrimp Boil starts at 5 p.m. under the ASB tent
Bicycle Decorating Contest – Friday, October 2, 2015, 6:00 p.m.
Nutty Parade – Friday, October 2, 2015, 6:30 p.m.
Bingo – Friday, October 2, 2015, 7 p.m. under the ASB tent

SATURDAY:
Coach E. Races – Registration begins at 7am at Brunswick school. 5K participants will be bussed to Grand River Bridge and race will start at 8:15. 10K will start at school at 8:15.

Arrowhead Saddle Club will be doing horse rides on Saturday – Polk Street- free will donation to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital

Food Vendors, Flea Market, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Games – all day Saturday, October 3, 2015

Knights of Columbus breakfast starts at 6 a.m. and fish with all the trimmings starts at 11 a.m.

Pecan Pie Contest – pie entries due by 8 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus building.

Pecan Cluster Contest – entries due at Allen’s Dime Store by 9 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015

Baby Contest – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the American Legion Hall

Pet Contest – 9 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 under the ASB tent

Pecan Pie Auction – 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 under the ASB tent on Madison Street.

Parade – 2 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 downtown Brunswick

Teen Dance – 8 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the American Legion Hall

Big Mijit Band – 9 p.m. at the Knight Rucker Banquet Hall

SUNDAY:
Slow Pitch Softball Tournament – Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Brunswick RII School

Gospel Singing with Glory Road – Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Methodist Church
